Fantasy tips

CAN'T MISS: Ronnie Brown. He's a beast in the Wildcat.

SLEEPER: Kyle Orton. He's consistently putting up good stats.

NOT THIS WEEK: Peyton Manning. Sit him if you can.

FREE AGENT PICKUP: Brandon Stokley. He's been reborn.

Local watch

Cooley vs. Bradley: Two local guys met up in the NFC East last week. Washington TE Chris Cooley (Logan HS/Utah State) scored and won vs. Philadelphia LB Stewart Bradley (Highland HS).

Best games

Bears (3-2) at Falcons (3-2)
FOX, 11 a.m.
Beware of the Bears, who are starting to come out of hibernation and have won eight of the past nine meetings. But the Falcons are unbeaten at home (2-0), averaging 36 ppg. Michael Turner will be the difference.

Prediction: Falcons, 24-20.

Raiders (1-3) at Saints (2-3)
CBS, 11 a.m.
Tom Cable is one of two head coaches to debut today, and the season is only past the quarter pole. Of course, nobody is sure if they should congratulate him or offer condolences. Saints are in must-win situation.
Prediction: Saints, 34-24

Cowboys (4-1) at Cardinals (3-2)
FOX, 2:15 p.m.
Looking for an Upset Special? Watch out for the Cardinals, who are second to the Cowboys in the NFC in points (147), put up 41 on the Bills and are unbeaten at home. Cowboys are too distracted.
Prediction: Cardinals, 34-27

Patriots (3-1) at Chargers (2-3)
NBC, 6:15 p.m.
The Patriots stayed on the West Coast after beating the 49ers. It looked like the Chargers stayed on the West Coast after losing in Miami. An AFC title game rematch, Chargers can't blow it this time.
Prediction: Chargers, 23-16

Giants (4-0) at Browns (1-3)
ESPN, Monday, 6:30 p.m.
Talk about benefits for the Super Bowl champs. The Giants' past four opponents, including the Browns, have combined for two victories. No wonder they're unbeaten, and they'll stay that way this week.
Prediction: Giants, 24-17
