During Wednesday's special session, legislators passed bills that would:

• Increase the size of voter precincts.

• Correct a mistake to allow a $5 increase in state court filing fees to go into a special court security account, and then to local governments.

• Change complicated trust law to allow more flexibility in "spend thrift trusts."

• Redirect monies in the Utah Venture Capitol Fund.

• Allow $2.7 million in new wholesale beer tax monies to flow to cities and counties for DUI enforcement.

• Prohibit the Tax Commission and county assessors from disclosing "sensitive" commercial business information in property tax filings.

• Prohibit a proposed fire/paramedic district from including a city or town to avoid a public election to establish the district.
