Many early graves not as yet located
Earlier this year, remains were uncovered in Coalville during a construction project. Six were reburied in the city cemetery, including three babies.
In Salt Lake City, five well-known cemeteries (including the one at This Is the Place Heritage Park) contain pioneer remains: Kimball & Whitney Cemetery, Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Mt. Olivet Cemetery and the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
A 19th century military cemetery is at Ft. Douglas at the University of Utah.
