Police looking for man in Provo theater robbery
PROVO — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Provo theater Wednesday.
At about 10 p.m., police say a 6-foot, 3-inch-tall white man walked into the Wynnsong 12 Theaters, 4925 Edgewood Dr., and demanded money.
The man, who told employees he had a gun, was dressed in black and hid his face with a ski mask.
Employees cooperated, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled west on foot, police said.
When officers arrived, they found blood, but no injured witnesses. A forensic team determined the blood to be from an animal, police said.
The theater has been robbed at least three times in the past two years.
