Grizzlies soar past Falcons in shootout
Utah never led in the game until the final score as the Grizzlies battled back from three separate one-goal deficits.
Mike Mole kept Utah in the game in the first period stopping 17 of 18 shots as Fresno built a 1-0 lead.
The Grizzlies tied the game twice in the second with goals from Olivier Labelle (1-1; 15) and Ryan Kinasewich (2-2;10).
In the third, Utah fell behind early but tied it late with a power-play goal from Chris Gaudet (6) with 3:33 remaining forcing the game past regulation.
In the shootout, Olivier Labelle recorded the game-winning goal in round-six.
Mole improved to 13-9-0-3 with the win.
Utah continues its road trip today in Stockton. Face-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. Utah returns home Thursday, Feb. 14, opening a three-game-in-three-night stand with Bakersfield.
