Grizzlies win in shootout

PHOENIX — James Sanford scored a power-play goal 53 seconds into overtime as the Utah Grizzlies (28-22-0-5) defeated the Phoenix RoadRunners 5-4 Thursday night at U.S. Airways Center. Also scoring for the Grizzlies were Rob Sirianni (twice), Garett Bembridge and Olivier Labelle. Utah and the RoadRunners complete their 10-game season series Saturday at U.S. Airways Center. Face-off is scheduled for 7:11 p.m.
