New exhibits at art stroll
The stroll begins at 6 p.m. Patrons can go to any venue to pick up a map of the stroll. The free event concludes at 9 p.m.
Art is displayed not only in galleries but also in retail outlets, including the Metropolitan Salon, 230 N. University Ave., which is showing art by Ashley Mae Christiansen; the Muse Cafe, 151 N. University Ave., with portraits by Travis Braun; and Maestro's Gelato Cafe, 22 W. Center, with art by Lisa Crosby.
New exhibitions include:
• Terra Nova Gallery, 41 W. 300 North, with "Made in Provo," works by local artists.
• Coal Umbrella, 157 N. University Ave., with paintings by Steven Larson and Trent Call.
• Coleman Studios, 117 N. University Ave., with new works by local artists.
• Mode Boutique, 45 N. University Ave., with a new installation and paintings by Ruel Brown.
• Utah County Gallery, 151 S. University Ave. (Utah Health and Justice Building), featuring watercolor, acrylics, oils, pastels and photography by the Utah Valley Artists Guild.
• Flower Basket Boutique, 409 N. University Ave., with paintings by Clint Hamilton.
• Gallery One Ten, 110 S. 300 West, with works by local artists.
• Storefront Galleries, 250 W. Center, 273 W. Center, "Reliquaries" by Jason Lanegan, "Curious Discoveries and Treasure Boxes," an installation by Kathryn Kennington, and paintings and sculptures by the Brigham Young University Visual Arts Club.
