Logan attorney named to 1st District bench
A Logan attorney has been tapped to fill a judgeship in the state's 1st District.
Kevin K. Allen has worked for two Logan firms, most recently as a senior partner with Allen and Ericson. He was also a lieutenant commander in the Navy's Judge Advocate General Corps.
Allen will replace retired Judge Gordon J. Low.
"He is well qualified for this position and will be an excellent addition to our judiciary," said Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr.
Allen must be confirmed by the Senate before taking a spot on the bench.
