Grizz trio called up to AHL

WEST VALLEY CITY — Three Utah Grizzlies have been called up to the AHL Bridgeport Sound Tigers just as their ECHL team prepares to leave for a five-game road trip starting Friday to Las Vegas and Victoria starting Friday.

Forwards Ryan Kinasewich and Olivier Labelle along with defenseman Jeff Dwyer have all been promoted to the AHL team. All three have logged time with the Sound Tigers already this season and also had previous AHL experience prior to this year.

Kinasewich was with Bridgeport from Nov. 3 — Jan. 8, playing 22 games and adding three goals and two assists. With Utah, the third-year Grizzlies forward has averaged a team-high 1.40 points-per-game; including 18 goals and 31 assists for 49 points in 35 games.

Labelle returns to the Bridgeport roster for the third time this season. He has played in six games there and leaves Utah with 43 points (23 goals, 20 assists) in 46 games.

Dwyer played six games with the Sound Tigers from Jan. 31 — Feb. 29. With Utah, the Connecticut native had three goals and 12 assists in 48 games.

Utah returns home Wednesday, March 26, to host Las Vegas at the E-Center at 7 p.m.
