A biblical art exhibit featuring the works of Rembrandt, Durer and Ruebens, just to name a few, has been making the rounds in various LDS stake centers in the Denver area and has warmed relations between Mormons and other Christian denominations that previously had not responded to LDS invitations to participate in activities.

Behind this monumental undertaking is Shawn Merriman, a former bishop in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who has developed a passion for collecting art prints made from woodcuts and engravings from the old masters, such as Albrecht Durer, Rembrandt Harmensz van Rijn and Peter Paul Ruebens, among others.

"We want to share our belief in Christ with our friends of other faiths," Merriman said, "and we have built bridges of understanding within this community."
