BYU (27-7) vs Texas A&M (24-10)

HONDA CENTER, Anaheim, Calif.

TODAY, 5:25 p.m. (MDT) TV: CBS

Radio: 1160AM

• KEY MATCHUP: A&M freshman center DeAndre Jordan (7-0, 253) against BYU junior Trent Plaisted and backup sophomore Chris Miles.

• PLAYER TO WATCH: A&M guard Josh Carter is the Aggies top outside shooter and led the nation in 3-point percentage a year ago.

• COUGARS WILL WIN IF: they get their transition game going, avoiding halfcourt sets and part of that is hitting 3-pointers off fast-breaks.

• AGGIES WILL WIN IF: they force the Cougars into a half court game and defend the Cougars with superior size and quickness. If Jordan gets dominate inside, the Cougars will be in trouble.
