The Utah Grizzlies (30-28-1-7) were unable to hold a 2-0 third period lead and settled for one point Saturday night, falling 3-2 in a shootout to Victoria.

The Salmon Kings tied the game with 14.7 seconds remaining in regulation on a power-play goal.

Utah rookie goaltender Wylie Rogers set an all-time Grizzlies record with 59 saves in the game; stopping 59 of 61 shots he saw through overtime and four of five in the shootout.

The Grizzlies took a 1-0 lead in the first with Micheal Haley redirecting a Jeff Dwyer shot. Later, Ryan Kinasewich fed Keith Johnson in the slot for his team-leading 26th goal of the year.
