Deregulation leads to bailout
First we deregulated the savings and loans. They went broke and we, the taxpayers, bailed them out. Then we deregulated the airlines. They went broke and we, the taxpayers, bailed them out. Then we deregulated the investment banks. They are now going broke and the taxpayers are, once again, going to bail them out. I sense a trend.
