Eliminate death sentence

Your article concerning the defense of the death-row inmates leaves me to believe that the state of Utah should eliminate the death sentence for murder and sentence the inmate to life without parole in a single cell. If the state decides to keep the death penalty for murder, give the death-row inmate a maximum of two years for appeals. It's ridiculous to have the taxpayer keeping these murderers alive. Your pictures of the current nine death-row inmates show the average stay of these men is 17.7 years since they were sentenced. What a waste of taxpayer money.
