Rocky Mountain seeking OK to buy a generating plant
Rocky Mountain Power said Wednesday that it plans to file a request next week with the Utah Public Service Commission for approval to buy an electric generating plant.
Utility spokesman David Eskelsen declined to comment on the kind of power the proposed plant would generate, who Rocky Mountain Power was in negotiations with or any financial details of the pending purchase. The April 1 filing with the commission will contain details of the request.
