GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Louisville will meet Minnesota and Arizona State will play Brigham Young in the first college basketball games at University of Phoenix Stadium next December.

The date of the doubleheader has yet to be announced.

The Glendale stadium, home to the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, will play host to the NCAA men's West Regional next year, and local organizers hope to lure a Final Four to the site.

The building played host to college football's Bowl Championship Series title game in 2007 and the Super Bowl last February.
