Women's Conference: Protecting our famlies from the snares of pornography

It will take nothing short of preparing for war for women to protect their families from the snares of pornography, said marriage and family therapist Jill C. Manning in a Women’s Conference address Thursday at BYU.

Speaking during an hour-long course on preventing and overcoming pornography's negative influence, Manning and fellow marriage and family therapist Jeffrey Robinson spoke about the roles women play in securing their homes from obscene influences while supporting struggling loved ones.

"Women are needed for a very unique type of warfare in our homes, schools, and communities," Manning said. "There are specific steps and actions we can take in order to protect, prevent and fight against the influence of pornography."
