Put everyone on equal footing
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints emphasizes 10 percent tithing for everyone, and it is considered the strongest religion financially in the world. Perhaps the United States could accomplish the same thing with a consumption tax where everyone is on equal footing. If you think this should be seriously considered by our country, please let your congressman know.
