Better Archuleta on Page 1

It is Jed Nieveen's opinion (Readers' Forum, May 12) that having a Utah "American Idol" on the front page is not newsworthy. Do we need to be robbed of fresh air?

Coincidentally, today on the front page are Utah's other current idols — the Utah Jazz basketball players. I would rather see a humble, wholesome young man on the front page than tattoo-covered men.
