Sister networks revamp

But CBS's sister network, The CW, has the most buzzed-about new show a revival of "Beverly Hills, 90210."
Titled simply "90210," it's sort of "The Next Generation" of the 1990-2000 Fox series about high school kids in one of the nation's most exclusive ZIP codes. Other than original cast member Jennie Garth, it's a whole new cast and a new set of writers and producers.
CBS's new shows are:
• "The Worst Week'' (Mondays, 8:30 p.m.) is a sitcom about a guy (Kyle Bornheimer) who just can't seem to impress his future in-laws.
• "The Mentalist" (Tuesdays, 8 p.m.) is a drama about a psychic turned detective. Simon Baker ("The Guardian") stars.
• "Project Gary" (Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m.) is a sitcom about a guy (Jay Mohr) and his ex-wife (Paula Marshall).
• "Eleventh Hour" (Thursdays, 9 p.m.) is a drama about a biophysicist (Rufus Sewell of "The Illusionist") who investigates scientific crises and oddities.
• "The Ex List" (Fridays, 8 p.m.) is a comedy/drama about a woman (Elizabeth Reaser of "Grey's Anatomy") who is told by a psychic that she's already dated her future husband and she's got to find him.
Canceled shows include "Moonlight," "Jericho," "Shark" and "Cane."
OVER AT THE CW, there are only three new shows for the moment, including "90210." The others are:
• "Surviving the Filthy Rich" (Tuesdays, 8 p.m.) is about a live-in tutor (JoAnna Garcia of "Reba') to two wealthy and wild twin sisters in Palm Beach.
• "Stylistas" (Wednesdays, 8 p.m.) is a fashion reality show from the producers or "America's Next Top Model." Eleven fashion enthusiasts will vie for a "coveted editorial job" and big prizes.
As previously announced, The CW has sublet its Sunday nights to Media Rights Capital. That company is developing programs for the 6-9 p.m. time slots, which will be announced at a later date.
The CW announced only one midseason replacement show and it isn't new "Reaper" will return.
Canceled shows include "Smackdown," "Beauty and the Geek," "Life Is Wild" and "Farmer Wants a Wife." "Girlfriends" retired after seven seasons.
