Bomb threat at U. Hospital causes temporary interruption in services
The threat was phoned in earlier this morning, prompting law enforcement to conduct a sweep of the area. No patients were evacuated, but numerous fire crews were called up to the hospital to stand by just in case, said Salt Lake City Fire spokesman Scott Freitag.
Access to the hospital was temporarily restricted, according to a hospital spokesman, with only critically-ill people being allowed in. The fire department was called off about 1 p.m.
