Jennifer Hurst and Steve Hextell have joined Red Ledges as vice presidents. Hurst is vice president of marketing. She has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications, most recently as the marketing director for another company. Hextell is vice president of sales. He has more than 20 years of experience in building and managing upscale master-planned communities. Prior to joining Red Ledges, Hextell served as the area vice president and general manager for another company.

Joanne M. Jorgensen and John S. Treu have joined the law firm Snow, Christensen & Martineau. Jorgensen's practice includes a wide range of civil litigation, including product liability defense, insurance defense, personal injury defense and contract disputes. Treu's practice encompasses business transactions, tax law and estate planning. Both graduated from the University of Utah.

Denise Mackun has joined the Southland office of Windermere Real Estate/St. George LLC Inc. She previously was with another company.

Michelle Howell and Nicole Lash have joined Love Communications' account service team. Both are account coordinators. Howell will help manage day-to-day needs of many of the agency's retail-based clients. She previously was a media assistant and a marketing assistant at a pair of firms. Her education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Lash will work primarily on the agency's health and public awareness campaigns. Before joining Love, Lash worked at a Salt Lake City-based public relations firm as an account executive. She has a degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Alison Looney-Swillinger has been elected to president of the Junior League of Salt Lake City. She has been a volunteer with the Junior League for 10 years, during which time she has served on the JLSLC board as membership vice president. She also has served as development director, nominating director and community director. Swillinger works as an attorney for Chevron.

Timothy Pickett has joined Green Construction as an estimator. He has 10 years of experience in the industry and has specialized in large pipe-oriented projects.

Robert R. "Bob" Dalley has joined Deseret Power as chief financial officer and vice president. He has 30 years of experience in finance-related functions and management. Most recently, Dalley was with a financial group based in Salt Lake City and spent 23 years at a power utility company. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

Tony Coop has joined Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT as retail specialist at the Salt Lake City office. He will focus on the acquisition and disposition of commercial property, working on lease and sales transactions for tenants and landlords plus site selection for retail stores in the Western region. He has experience at a pair of other agencies.
