Officers resuscitate toddler found in Saratoga Springs pool
Saratoga Springs Police Cpl. Aaron Rosen said the boy asked his mother if he could go for a swim in the pool. The mother told him to wait a while, but the boy went out to the pool on his own. The boy was later found at the bottom of the pool. Rosen said they are uncertain how long he was in the pool.
Police officers responded to the scene and found the boy blue in the face and without any vital signs. Officers performed rescue breaths on the boy for four to five minutes before he started breathing again.
The boy was transported to Primary Children's Medical Center by helicopter. Rosen said he's making a full recovery.
