MILFORD — Beaver County sheriff's officials said a fight between two men here late Thursday erupted into a knife attack that left one man in critical condition and another in jail.

Emmet Wayne Walker, 38, is accused of stabbingCory Holliday in the chest and head area following an argument around 10 p.m. Thursday, said Beaver County Sheriff Cameron Noel. Holliday was taken to Beaver Valley Hospital, then airlifted in critical condition to University Hospital.

Walker was apprehended in a "remote area" and arrested for investigation of driving under the influence, aggravated assault and attempted aggravated murder. He is being held at the Beaver County Correctional Facility.
