When's the last time you said "thank you"? To help people remember and recognize the everyday acts of kindness shown to us, Merci Finest Assortment of European Chocolates and the Emily Post Institute are sponsoring a National Thank You Day Contest. People are asked to nominate those who have performed small deeds that deserve a big thank you with an essay of up to 150 words and to suggest an appropriate thank you gift valued at up to $20,000.

The contest ends Aug. 15. Winners will be selected on National Thank You Day, which this year is Sept. 22. For complete rules and more information, visit www.nationalthankyouday.com.
