See through Bush's tactics

This week brought another attack by President Bush against Congress on the issue of offshore drilling, saying that Congress' rejection of his proposal for offshore drilling is the only thing standing between Americans and lower gas prices. How long are we going to be fed this garbage and believe it?

We, as Americans, have the responsibility to see through the political refuse, such as Bush's memorandum to lift offshore drilling restrictions. Only then can we see this stunt for what it really is: a disgraced president trying to shift the blame from his administration to the Democratic Congress to redeem his party in this election year.
