Writer lacks moral standards

Roger Carrier's letter "History will vindicate gays" (Readers' Forum, July 17) was interesting. I suspect it comes from someone who doesn't believe that the people have a right to expect moral standards in society or from government and that marriage has no consquence on families. Look only to Europe and other societies where such principles are practiced to see the net result.
