MormonTimes.com: Mormon Media Observer: LDS profiles
As a child, I fondly remember reading the LDS Church News each Saturday as it was delivered to our home in Brigham City. In particular, I read with interest all of the stories of Saints in faraway places or across the nation printed in the "From the Mailbag" feature.
In the digital age, I still am fascinated by such stories of human pain, discovery and accomplishment. At their heart, the best news profiles talk about contradictions, change in perspective and the "humanness" in all of us. So here are my favorite Mormon profiles from media outlets during the past few weeks.
