Man tries to end Ogden fight and is stabbed in chest
OGDEN Police are looking for a man who stabbed another man who tried to break up a fight.
Officers said the victim, 23, was taken to McKay-Dee Hospital after he showed up at a woman's house seeking help. He had been stabbed in the chest, police said.
"Upon being taken to the emergency room, he had a collapsed lung and heart injuries and was taken into surgery," Ogden Police Lt. Scott Conley said Friday.
Police said the victim tried to break up a fight on the 2800 block of Pingree Avenue between his friend and another man. The assailant brandished a knife and the victim chased him away but was later stabbed. He was last reported to be in intensive care, police said.
