Better way to rebuild I-15

After witnessing all the recent accidents and inconveniences that have come with the "rebuilding" of the short section of I-80 between I-15 and the east section of I-215, we can scarcely imagine some of what the five-year disaster in Utah County will be like during the coming "rebuilding" of I-15 there.

Is there a better way? Certainly! Instead of destroying the existing I-15 freeway and "rebuilding," let us instead build a new freeway (called I-515?) on the west side of Utah Lake. North of Utah County, our new freeway might connect to the Bangerter Highway, upgraded to full freeway standards.

Clearly, instead of "rebuilding" I-15, better freeway options could be implemented at much less cost in resources and pain.
