Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker has been in Madison, Wis., this week meeting with national policy experts and mayors from roughly 40 cities around the country about improving transportation choices, expanding equitable economic development and providing more local food opportunities.

The four-day Mayors' Innovation Project event concludes today. Mayors are able to listen to success stories and new ideas from other communities.

"We have made great progress with transportation (in Salt Lake City)," Becker said.
