MormonTimes.com: Choir, LDS Musicians wow Tabernacle audience

Thirteen recording artists on Deseret Book's recording label, Shadow Mountain Records, performed in a two-part concert with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square Tuesday night at the Tabernacle.

The concert, "Music for a Summer Evening," was in conjunction with the LDS Booksellers Association's convention, which is taking place in Sandy, Utah, this week.

Jana Erickson, a product director for Deseret Book, said the concert was a way "to introduce the booksellers to some of the music on the albums that are coming out."
