The Utah Highway Patrol said Sunday a man was killed, another hospitalized and a third jailed after a rollover in Juab County Saturday evening.

UHP Sgt. Jeff Plank said a rollover was reported about 6 p.m. Saturday in Nephi Canyon on state Route 132. Plank said a passenger from St. George, Adam Livingston, 31, was ejected in the accident and was dead at the scene. He said another passenger was trying to flee. He said that man was apprehended and later determined to have outstanding warrants. Plank said the driver of the vehicle tussled with both a trooper and an EMT at the scene and was booked into Juab County Jail for investigation of driving under the influence, automobile homicide and assault.

Plank said the passenger who had tried to flee was in a Nephi hospital Sunday recovering from injuries. The driver was treated for minor injuries and released before being jailed. Both the driver and hospitalized passenger are from Mt. Pleasant.
