Log Haven executive chef Kevin Donovan is leaving the restaurant to head the dining program at Park City Mountain Resort. Donovan has been at Log Haven since March 2007. Log Haven has launched a search for a new executive chef. Meanwhile, the restaurant is hosting a "Fall Mushroom Madness" menu.

Sun & Moon Cafe, 5195 Emigration Canyon, has a new autumn menu. Additions include fish tacos and beef tacos. The restaurant recently installed heaters on its patio so that diners can enjoy the fresh air and autumn colors of the canyon in comfort (583-8331).

Winder Farms is bringing glass milk bottles back as an option for home delivery customers. For nearly 80 years, the company delivered milk in glass bottles until its manufacturer stopped making them. Due to customer request, Winder brought the glass bottles back and customers can now choose from two returnable options, glass or plastic. Edible Arrangements is offering two special fruit arrangements in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month during October. The Breast Cancer Awareness Bouquet is fresh strawberries hand dipped in pink chocolate, for $55; the Awareness Celebration, for $59, is filled with pink chocolate dipped strawberries, pineapple stars and daisies, grapes, honeydew and cantaloupe. Red Robin Restaurants are celebrating National Fire Prevention Week through Saturday by offering families a free fire safety pack and fire safety tips. Participating restaurants will donate 50 cents from every Five Alarm Burger sold this week to support fire-safety initiatives.

The Texas Roadhouse restaurant chain is opening its newest store at 365 N. 500 West in West Bountiful, on Oct. 20 at 4 p.m. On Tuesday, while the restaurant trains its kitchen staff, guests from the Bountiful Community Food Pantry will get to sample the steaks, ribs and other menu items. On Oct. 17 and 18, the restaurant will host pre-opening events to raise money for the food pantry and the Children's Society of Utah (www.texasroadhouse.com).
