Class 5A MVP
Ammon OlsenAlta, 6-4, 195, Sr.
Led Alta to its second straight 5A state championship by completing 193-of-306 passes for 3,201 yards and 36 touchdowns. He also rushed for 860 yards and 11 touchdowns, and on Thursday was named Utah's Gatorade Player of the Year.
Class 4A MVP
Xavier Su'a-FiloTimpview, 6-5, 290, Sr.
One of the elite offensive lineman in the entire country. Not only was he a dominant presence at his left tackle position all year, when his team needed him to step up defensively in the semifinals and championship game he was dominant there as well. Has received offers from LSU, Notre Dame and USC.
Class 3A MVP
Jamie MarkosianJuan Diego, 6-2, 275, Sr.
Three-year starter was the heart and soul of Juan Diego's offensive and defensive line. He was the pivotal inside guy on Juan Diego's successful run game, and defensively at nose guard he was a dominant force finishing with 91 tackles and 11 sacks.
Class 2A MVP
Deven HolmesNorth Summit, 6-0, 195, Sr.
Was the catalyst in leading North Summit it back-to-back state championships. Not only did he have a solid season with his arm completing 53-of-127 passes for 1,268 yards and 10 TDs, but he also led the team in rushing with 1,040 yards and 18 TDs.
Class 1A MVP
Wyatt MasonNorth Sevier, 5-6, 148, Sr.
Led the Wolves to a surprising state championship with a very workmanlike performance throughout the year. In 12 games he carried the ball 228 times for 1,306 yards and 18 TDs. Mason was also a contributor defensively from his free safety position record 36 tackles.
