Christmas Box kids to get carnival treat

Pierpont Place will open its doors exclusively for the children of the Christmas Box House on July 31, 3:30-6:30 p.m. at 163 W. Pierpont Ave., to give the children a fun, memorable, carnival called "Christmas in July."

Pierpont Place, an event venue in downtown Salt Lake City, has organized the carnival, and various sponsors include Deseret First Credit Union, Rio Tinto and DPR Communication.

The carnival will consist of games, prizes, art, music, entertainment and food for the children
