OK, Coldplay fans who live in Utah -- The wait is over! Billboard.com reported this morning that the band's "Viva la Vida" tour will come to Salt Lake City's EnergySolutions Arena on Saturday, Nov. 22. No word on when tickets go on sale, but Coldplay manager Dave Holmes told Billboard that the prices will be in the $50, $65 and $85 range.

Seen and reviewed this week:
-- "Speed Racer" (rated PG), the Wachowski brothers' live-action adaptation of the popular cartoon series.
-- "The Visitor" (rated PG-13), an immigration issues-centric, comedy-drama from the makers of "The Station Agent."
-- "What Happens in Vegas" (rated PG-13), a romance-to-riches comedy starring Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz.
-- "Young @ Heart" (rated PG), a documentary profile of the Massachusetts-based, senior citizen group the Young @ Heart Chorus.
Both of the major studios films -- "Speed Racer" and "What Happens in Vegas" -- are pretty awful. The former is 134 minutes long, which is deadly for a kids film. Strangely, the by-the-numbers and painfully unfunny "Vegas" feels considerably longer.
However, the two smaller films are excellent. Both were deserved hits at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, especially the delightful "Young @ Heart." Speaking of which, the chorus is coming to Salt Lake City to perform this summer -- at an event co-sponsored by the Salt Lake Film Center.
Another film, the mixed martial arts drama "Redbelt," did open this week. I did not see that screening.
