BYU museum gets grant for seminar
PROVO Brigham Young University's Museum of Peoples and Cultures received a grant from the Utah Humanities Council to host a seminar Feb. 7 on a collection of American Indian artifacts from Capitol Reef.
The artifacts were collected by the Pectol and Lee families in the early 20th century.
The collection can be seen at the museum, 700 N. 100 East. Archaeologists, Archeologists, American Indians and a descendant of the family are scheduled to speak at the seminar.
