Nasdaq raises more issues on Nature's Sunshine listing
PROVO Nature's Sunshine Products Inc. said Friday that it has been told by the Nasdaq Stock Market that it is failing to comply with marketplace rules, arming Nasdaq with another reason for delisting Nature's Sunshine's common stock.
The company said its Form 10-K for 2005 was not filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission by March 16, in violation of a marketplace rule.
The company previously disclosed it was in noncompliance because it had not filed a Form 10-Q for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2005, although the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel has granted the company an extension until March 31 to file a complete Form 10-Q.
The company has said it does not expect to meet that filing deadline or to file the 10-K by that time. It said it will consider seeking an extension for filing both.
Nature's Sunshine Products manufactures and markets herbal products, vitamins and other complementary products.
