Utah proposals
Some of the immigration proposals lawmakers are considering for the 2007 session:
• Repealing in-state tuition for children of illegal immigrants
• Requiring proof of status or citizenship to access state services
• Having the state sue the federal government over inaction on immigration reform
• Housing criminally convicted illegal immigrants in private prisons out of state.
