Tapes, braille guides ready for blind voters
Blind voters can now get information about the candidates and other ballot issues.
Voter information guides are available in Braille and on recorded tapes from the Utah State Library. The guide, which is published by Lt. Gov. Gary Herbert's office, is transcribed by the state library and recorded by the Department of Corrections.
It required six volunteers working more than 100 hours to create the data, according to state librarian Donna Jones Morris.
