Images of Jesus are set to music, posted on Net
The presentation includes images of historic paintings of Jesus Christ set to three tracks of music performed by BYU students and faculty.
"The images from 'Beholding Salvation: Images of Christ' from the Museum of Art combined with beautiful music from the School of Music deserve to be seen and heard by hundreds and thousands of people," said Stephen Jones, dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communications. "While there's no narration, these pieces speak volumes about our reverence for Jesus Christ. I hope they'll touch all who see them."
The exhibit features more than 170 prints, icons, illuminated manuscripts and sculptures from diverse times and creeds and will be on display through June 16.
