China business forum set at Westminster
Utah business owners can get firsthand knowledge, insight and industry-specific advice from a delegation of civic and business leaders from the Beijing Yanqi Industrial Zone, one of Beijing's 10 major development zones, at an upcoming Salt Lake forum.
The China Business Connection Forum, set for May 23 and 24 at Westminster College, will feature Zhaogeng Fu, deputy district executive (mayor) of Huairou District, and Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon, along with more than a dozen other Chinese and U.S. economic development experts.
Designed as a business "matchmaking" event, the forum will include one-on-one meetings and focus on the food and beverage, medical instruments, biological pharmacy and information technology industries.
The cost is $100 for both days. Details and registration are available at www.westminstercollege.edu/
