3 motorists injured in I-80 van accident
TOOELE — Three people were injured after their van rolled Saturday on Interstate 80.
The Utah Highway Patrol said the Chevrolet Astro van was eastbound near mile-marker 88 about 4:30 p.m. when it drifted off the road.
"It drifted off the left shoulder, overcorrected to the right, overcorrected to the left, went into the center median and rolled a couple of times," said UHP Trooper Roger Daniels.
Three medical helicopters were called to transport the three people inside the van to Salt Lake City-area hospitals. They were listed in critical and serious condition, Daniels said.
