Memorializing loss of young lives in WWII
People light candles in Berlin on Saturday to honor the 4,646 children who were transported by train from Berlin to Nazi death camps during WWII. A "Train of Commemoration" is due to stop in the city today on its way to the Auschwitz death camp. More than one million children and youths from all over Europe were transported to the Nazi death camps via the German rail network.
