Will ticket sales be affected?
It's still too soon to tell what long-term effect the threat of terrorism may have on ticket sales for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee. More than 83 percent of the 2002 Winter Games tickets available have already been sold.
"There will be some who will be concerned, but some who will want to be here even more," SLOC President Mitt Romney said shortly after the attacks. "We anticipate we will have a robust ticket program."
Two weeks after the attack, Romney said, only 14 people have inquired about turning in their tickets. SLOC, however, already had a policy in place prohibiting refunds on tickets, which won't be delivered to buyers until shortly before the Games begin next February.
