Obituary: Val Bart Rowley

      1979 ~ 2004
      Val Bart Rowley, 24, passed away April 23, 2004 in Cedar City, UT. He was born August 11, 1979 in Moab, UT to Larry W and ReaDawn Ilynn Bradshaw Rowley.
      Val was active in sports and musicals. He had the opportunity to sing at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City. He graduated from Green River High School as Salutatorian and attended Snow College and the U of U. He was an Eagle Scout.
      Val was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as Seminary President, and served a mission in Vladivostok, Russia. He was a favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews and enjoyed playing with them. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.
      Val is survived by his parents Elder Larry W and Sister ReaDawn Ilynn Rowley currently serving a mission in Pierre, South Dakota; brothers Matthew Larry (Kim) of Orem, UT; Brady Ronald (Jennifer) of Saratoga Springs, UT; and Elder Joshua Henry serving a mission in Puerto Rico; sisters Cynthia (Theron) Roberts of Parowan, UT; Julie Rowley of Cedar City, UT; Tamara (Kendall) Krause of Lehi, UT; and Andrea (Lyle) Goulding of Richfield, UT; grandmother Ilynn Bradshaw of Beaver, UT; six nieces, and six nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents LaVel Bradshaw, and Ronald F and Pearl Worthen Rowley. He married Robyn Barrios October 5, 2001 in Salt Lake City Temple; they later divorced.
      Funeral services will be held Wed., April 28, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Green River LDS Chapel. Friends and family may visit Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Interment will be in the Parowan Cemetery at 5:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent through our website at
