Basic Dry Rub
Author: "All About Bar-B-Q" by Rich Davis and Shifra Stein (Pig-Out Publications, 1995)
Ingredients
This is sprinkled on the meat before cooking.
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup coarsely ground black pepper
1/2 cup paprika
1/4 cup chili powder
1/4 cup salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
Directions
Combine ingredients well and rub into meat before barbecuing.
