Chocolate Mint Delight

Ingredients
24-30 Oreo cookies
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 gallon mint chocolate chip ice cream
13-ounce can salted peanuts
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 can evaporated milk
1 6-ounce package semisweet semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Crush 6 or 7 cookies at a time in blender. Mix with butter and press into 9-by-13-inch pan for crust. Slice ice cream and layer on top of crust. Sprinkle with the peanuts and freeze. Mix powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter, milk and chocolate chips in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute, remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool 1 1/2 hours, then spread over frozen dessert and freeze again. To serve, cut into 12-15 squares.
