Dry Cereal Candy

Ingredients
1 cup corn syrup, preferably dark
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons peanut butter, preferably crunchy
6-8 cups assorted dry cereal (Wheat Chex, Froot Loops, etc.)
1/3 cup coconut (or raisins)
Directions
Measure corn syrup and sugar into saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved and mixture bubbles. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Pour over measured cereal and coconut/raisins if used. Spoon into large buttered mixing bowl. When cool, break into serving-size pieces.
